When it comes to our health, the truth of the matter is that we tend to become too callous with it, be it because of our inability to manage time, or just laziness.

2018 is over and 2019 has started with a bang, some amazing parties, and some new year resolutions. Though it is extremely difficult to keep the resolutions you make, one thing you can do for sure is to make sure you learn from your mistakes in the past and do not repeat them in the New Year.

When it comes to our health, the truth of the matter is that we tend to become too callous with it, be it because of our inability to manage time, or just laziness. And the need of the hour is to put in the effort to become more healthy, and fitter to lead a better life. Here are a few mistakes from 2018 you should resolve to not repeat in 2019.

Donating to the gym

How about the wild idea of not donating your hard earned money to the gym but actually availing the services at it for which you are paying? More often than not, we get motivated enough to sign up for a gym membership but after about a day or two or maybe a week, we stop showing up there and just let our money go to waste. This 2019, do not make the mistake to let your money go waste and instead sweat it out in the gym to get fit and achieve your body goals.

Cheat more than once a week

Not in a relationship, but on your diet. Cheating once a week is acceptable, but if you are cheating more than that, then you do not have the right to complain about your diet or weight loss plans not working properly. Do not repeat the mistake of cheating on your diet too often, and your weight loss goals will be easier to achieve in 2019.

Ignoring your skin

One part of our body that we pay the least attention to is our skin – the largest sense organ. We do not realise that it really needs to be taken care of, both internally and externally. Eating right, practicing the right morning and night skin routine are parts of skin care that we often tend to ignore which leads to little damage each day – building up in the long run. Make sure you throw off laziness and wash your face and apply your cream before going to bed, and give your skin time to breathe.

Ignoring your hair

You can complain about your hair fall, but you know you are responsible for it. Just wash your hair with the shampoo that suits you best, and stop experimenting with it, changing it every month. Go desi and oil your hair every weekend to ensure they are conditioned and hydrated. Do not be too stern with them and untangle them with a little love, and not literally pull them out of your scalp.

Not enough water

Almost all people are guilty of not drinking as much water as required by the body in a day. You have done the same thing in 2018, and you should not repeat the same in 2019. Drink enough water throughout the day and you will see a lot of your health problems disappearing already.
