Constant Karm

By Meena Om

Never stop doing karm. Karm is not about making money. Just continue working. Doing your work is most essential, irrespective of the fact that it brings in money or success. And the most gratifying thing is to be able to work, to be able to do your work using all your faculties.

Always be on the move; keep moving ahead.

Movement is the greatest satisfying factor. For this you don’t need any assistance, help, money, advises. Just keep on working, doing something.

Be on your on your toes, always.

Be gatimaan, on the move, because universe is always on the move and when you are also on the move, creating something, perfecting something and destroying something, you are in sync with the universe and universal energies.

But sometimes we also hear of a contrary advise – do nothing, rest. How can we be gatimaan and restful at the same time?

Resting does not mean flopping on the bed and day dreaming or being lazy. This can be most damaging to your system; you will start rusting this way.

Do nothing means be on the move in a relaxed manner and not hurrying or worrying, doing what comes to you in a relaxed manner – with ease, peace and grace.

May such a day never come when you don’t have anything to do. In common parlance, it is only when people die, it is said for the deceased: ‘Woh pooray ho gaye – meaning he has completed is karm – work’
