De-programming the Cells

Cell reprogramming is possible through auto suggestion in dhyan – when you sit in dhyan and visualise that your cells are happy, dancing, getting reprogrammed. If you listen to auto suggestion CDs with music – music makes your attention more focused, your mind will not wander. It will relax your nerves. But you have to keep strong faith that it will surely happen. What you are suggesting to yourself – is bound to happen, actually is happening. Like a bird starts to sing even when it is still dark knowing that morning is about to come, and it does arrive every day…similarly, have faith, everything is going according to the Divine plan.

It is very important to de-programme your subconscious. If you recall some incident again and again, you are repeatedly resurrecting it in your subconscious mind. You don’t have to forget it, but you can certainly stop being affected by it. One day when you stop thinking about it, close the door, it will be removed from your subconscious. If you think you are still lusting for something, money, physical contact, whatever, stop getting affected by it, put your dhyan elsewhere, stop giving in to its demands, instead pray that lust may leave you; it is bound to go away and knock on someone else’s door; so diverting your attention helps; so does channelising that energy into something more constructive.

The Gita states that the mind is our greatest friend or greatest enemy, depending on how we use it!
